Eurovision semi final

Hurrah! Iceland's through to the final. I've finished knitting the Daisy Hoodie. One bottle of red bubbles is empty.I'm happy.

Kerry's rooting for Latvia (Adam Ant eat your heart out!):

We can't wait for tomorrow night. But to fill the time there's another bottle of red bubbles to drink and Abba: The Movie to watch...

Daisy Hoodie wins the race by considerably more than a head and shoulders.
Looking forward to seeing it modelled.

I was so excited for the final last night: we'd bought all of our wines and cheeses and were set for a fantatsic night of excitement...

And then I logged onto Bigpond.com and IT TOLD ME WJO WON!!!

I don't think I've been this devistated for a long time. And I was so set for Armenia to win too.

I LOVE the Eurovision song contest too. Although it's not exactly a contest anymore :) But it's still fun to watch for the pure entertainment! My hubby was rooting for Latvia too! We both liked Israel. Fantastic talent!

Was it just me or was Eurovision this year a tad disappointing all round? I know at our party everyone started leaving even before Russia came back on stage to sing their winning song again and the place was empty before the end...

I blame Azerbaijan :-)
